Tsunami Vista: Experience Authentic Asian Fusion with Trendy Vibes

Tsunami is a good restaurant with a fairly large menu. There are various unique sushi role choices and other options (such as noodles and chicken) for anyone not wanting sushi. The food was good (and well priced) and our waiter was nice, but the food took a substantial amount of time to arrive to the table. Also, we made a reservation, and showed up exactly on time, however, we still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Sometimes parking can be a hassle since Tsunami shares a lot with multiple other businesses, but if you loop around a time or two, a spot will usually open up.

Food was fantastic. Sushi was very fresh. Nice size rolls and reasonably priced. Nice decor. Our waiter Craig was great. Friendly and attentive.

Expansive location with lots of seating in a darkened relaxed environment. Free parking lot in front but can be difficult to park there during busy seasons. Went specifically for sushi and there were lots of options to choose from with detailed explanations of what the rolls consisted of. Presentation was lovely. Waiter was very friendly but there is a wait to have your order taken then another longer wait before your food arrives. Wish there was a spicy salmon roll option that isn’t fried. The rolls were delicious and very filling! Would definitely come back for the sushi!

First time here, I had been wanting some hibachi for about 2 wks..I saw that they offered Happy Hour food and certain drinks from 4 pm to 7 pm, so I figured I would try them out.. Once I was seated, a nice lady took my order. I ordered a drink and let me tell you my food was ready so fast it scared me. Lol, all jokes aside I will definitely come back. I gave the food 4 stars because I did not like the fried vanilla dessert.. Other than that, everything was amazing!

I enjoy the unagi and steak nigiri that evening. It is close to my hotel and the presentation of each plate the chef made is much better than a lot of Japanese restaurants. Everything was so fresh and the menu offers a great selections. I would definitely go back. Everything is priced reasonably considering they are at a touristy spot(Gervais St). My waiter was very friendly and attentive so I think it’s definitely work giving it a try if you are around the area.

The food is amazing! We ordered the meat trio, tempura vegetables and shrimp, spicy teriyaki chicken, volcano roll, and dynamite roll. Everything, I mean, EVERYTHING was delicious! The atmosphere is great and classy vibes! Our waitress was amazing and attentive but not pushy or overbearing, great place to sit and have conversation with out distractions!

I had a great first experience. I've wanted to come here for a long time but just haven't yet and I was super pleased. Food was awesome and the atmosphere was very nice too. The prices aren't too high anywhere from 6-13$ for their sushi rolls, among other dishes. Our server was super nice and attentive, even though we came in decently late lol. I liked the decor and the overall vibe of the restaurant as well. I definitely plan on coming back!

Went for a birthday party, first time here. Food was good but not hot. Our server wasn't too good. Literally had to ask for more drinks and stuff. Slow server. My bill was over $70(person).
